Mileage 996
Baker Acres, Zephyrhills, Florida
We've had a busy few days. Kenny's flight to NOVA ended up getting canceled so he participated in his meeting virtually.
Our toilet started leaking so we called an RV Tech who happened to be a retired principal. Randy got things all fixed! We highly recommend C & R Mobile RV Solutions if you are ever in need in the St. Augustine area.
After one more dinner with the Mayers (we see them again in a couple weeks) we headed west to the Tampa area. Along the way I stopped several places to shop for a dress for a wedding at the end of March. It was fun to hit the Dillards in different cities! Of course I had to stop at Buck-ee's while passing by! If you've never been visiting is definitely an event!
On Friday night we had dinner with Christie, one of Kenny's coworkers. We met at Yuengling which is a really beautiful facility with super yummy food. As always we enjoyed spending time with her. We are excited to meet her and Collin's baby when we visit next!
Today we went to the Tampa RV Show. We met the Kerseys and enjoyed wandering around the show with them. All RVers are different. We are looking at smaller units while they are looking at a larger one. We enjoyed our afternoon with them and hope to camp with them before we leave Florida.
After we got back to the RV, Comet made a girlfriend, Lucy, who is also a Shijon. Her owner and I took them to the dog park and let them run off leash. If a dog could smile, I'm sure Comet had a huge grin on his face!
Tomorrow we go halfway back across the state to stage ourselves for a visit with The Mouse!
