For our last full day in Topsail Preserve State Park we tried to fit it all in. We did laundry (next time will be at home), went on a little hike to a dune lake, sat on the beach, rode our bikes, and a did a tour of Seaside.
No Name Lake is one of several dune lakes in the park and along the 30A Corridor.
I had one more day to sit on this beautiful beach with the emerald water.
Ah, toes in the sand.
I'll miss my little beach buddy!
Scary looking jelly thing.
Two floating pelicans. They floated along the surface the entire time I was at the beach.
I think these were Coast Guard helicopters flying over the beach.
After the beach I rode to Campbell Lake. This was totally obscured by fog the day we got here.
30A is a county road that runs along the Gulf of Mexico on Florida's Panhandle. A bike trail runs along side the road. There are many small hamlets along with many beautiful homes along the way.
Seaside is a beautiful planned community along the coast. We spent several hours wandering around here. There are several cute shops. It's big claim to fame is The Truman Show was filmed here.
Many Airstreams line the road with different restaurants and cafes.
We crossed 30A to the beach.
Then strolled through several restaurants.
This is the beginning of college spring break. If you look closely you can see a group of men on the deck below us admiring the view (look beyond them to the beach).
Until we chose this view for happy hour.
The sunset was simply stunning. 30A, we'll be back!!
