In two days Kenny, Comet (our dog), and I depart on a 8000 mile journey that will take us to 24 states. Planning such a trip was a major undertaking that took us many months with many changes and adjustments. In fact, the planning is still in progress even as we prepare to depart.
I am a mixture of excited and nervous. I'm hopeful that all of the reservations were made for the correct day; our RV and truck run smoothly and without incident; and we both stay healthy throughout the trip.
Our new travel companion, Comet, is new to us and travel. Kenny and I both have a bit of trepidation on how he will impact the journey.
Ultimately, we are excited to go and see and do! So many folks who follow us on Facebook commented on the posts from earlier trips I thought this might be an easier way to keep things in one place. Let me know what you think!
