A Little More Sedona and the drive to Phoenix.

 10.3.2023

Westworld of Scottsdale (Phoenix, Arizona)

Mileage: 4822

We drove south.  I took the beautiful byway and stopped again in Sedona.  Kenny took the highway.  We both successfully ended up in Phoenix.  Along the way we saw our first natural saguaro cactus.   Finding a place to camp in urban areas can sometimes be tricky.  Our home for two nights is Westworld which an event center.  The folks camping around us all have large horse trailers.  Last night there was soccer practice on the field behind the RV and we are just down an embankment from a major road.

While Kenny Worked I left Flagstaff and went through Sedona.  It is such a beautiful place and there were some shops I wanted to visit.  I started at the airport which has an amazing view.

Tlaquepaque for a little shopping.  It is an artist village with many little shops and eateries.  I enjoyed wandering through the many different shops and chatting with the artisans.  I picked up a few things as gifts and a couple things for myself.

I ate at the brew pub and had a great pizza.

The view from our campsite at Westworld.

We met John and Judy Kirk for dinner at Coopershawk.  I neglected to take a picture.  We enjoyed the company and dinner.

Comet thinks that he should be served at the table since we ate out tonight.
