Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness
Today we chilled, cleaned the rig, walked Comet to the dog park, and Kenny got his haircut. After two full days at EPCOT we had some maintenance to do.
In the afternoon we took the boat to The Wilderness Lodge and ate at Geyser Point, the bar there. The food and cocktails were both delicious. We stopped back by the RV before going to Hollywood Studios for After Hours. One of our favorite Disney memories is from when the kids were like 9 and 11. We were staying in a Deluxe Resort which back then meant we got two extra hours in Magic Kingdom for only resort guests. By the end of the night (read this as 1AM) we were virtually the only people in the park. We were riding Thunder Mountain Railway and the park was so empty that cast members let us stay on the ride. I think we rode 5 or 6 times in a row before finally calling it a night. After hours are the same vibe with very limited availability. Most of the rides are walkons. Kenny and I rode 6 rides last night (2 of them twice) and saw Fantasmic in the span of 5 hours. Very fun!
