Grand Tetons National Park
Mileage: only the truck today
We started the morning at Jenny Lake. We took the boat shuttle across the lake and started our hike up the mountain to Hidden Waterfall. It was a lovely ride on a clear day. We were amazed that we could see the bottom of the lake for part of the ride.
Once off the boat we started up the mountain.
We made it to Hidden Falls.
We enjoyed the rushing river.
We continued up and decided not to make the half mile trek up to Inspiration Point. We stopped when the view inspired us :).
We made it back down to the boat launch for the ride back across Jenny Lake.
We had lunch at Signal Mountain Lodge. The food was average, but the view was amazing.
We stopped briefly at this beautiful, rustic church called Chapel of the Sacred Heart.
Jackson Dam was our next stop. It was cool to see the workings of the dam
The pelicans were waiting by the outflow for fish that made the trip through the dam.
We stopped by Jackson Lodge to see the architecture and the view.
Colter Bay is the northern most part of the park with services. We stopped by the visitor center.
We made the drive up signal mountain.
We saw this deer cross the road.

Once back down from the mountain we did the Jenny Lake Scenic Drive.
We saw a few pronghorn on our way back to the campground.
Daylight was waning so we went back to the RV for dinner.
